"Another Great Book! Morgan Moeller continues the A.S.H.E.S. adventure in this second book. Both are great reads for a relaxing time of imagination and entertainment. Interesting skills and gifts are revealed in the characters and their personalities continue to be revealed. Morgan's writing is fast-paced and very detailed all at the same time. I recommend anything she publishes!"

"I heard that someone at church had written a book and that intrigued me but I didn't really know the author on a personal level, only that she was our pastor's daughter. Before the first book A.S.H.E.S. We Rise, was released, I was asked to review a few chapters. I skimmed over the pages in the initial chapters and my interest was piqued, but still I had just skimmed it and therefore was kind of thinking it was probably just a "children's book". Oh, but was I wrong, the author is absolutely brilliant. So now a little confused or maybe jealous, it was time to give it my full attention. Maybe the book has a little "x-men and hunger games" type twist to it but it is
definitely way more as the author is definitely unique with her own imagination unlike any other. The book flows well, is easy to follow, keeps you mesmerized and is a very intricately woven masterpiece in my opinion, so get the book before the movie comes out."

Excerpt:  Thea

How long do we have until Lerial arrives?

“We should probably get a headcount on abilities, address

them, and form a plan of attack,” I breathe.

No one responds.

“Damian?”

He looks up. “I’m helping here; you do it.”

I frown, bristling a bit. The truth is, I hate speaking in front

of people; I don’t like having that much attention on me. In Seven, I survived by keeping quiet, being invisible; even next to Ed. If you fit in and stay silent, you’re fine; no food docking, few faction guards, less rationing orders. It's how we survived. I can’t lead.

I exhale. That was the old me, the girl who wouldn’t run.

Now, I step onto the faded grass where the others sit, having

finished the defenses. A few of them carry guns taken from the

guards. Metal bars lay at the ready. Water is gathered in a ditch,

tangles of vines have grown over the road, digging into the

pavement and ripping up mag strips, forcing hovers to land. Piles

of tall, dry grass lie ahead, ready to burn. I force myself to breathe, fire rising up inside of me. I have a voice now. I can make an impact, bring change. What can one girl from Seven do about all of this?

I’m about to find out.
